Here are settlement agreements

The City of Pensacola, represented by CFO Dick Barker, made former Fire Chief Matt Schmitt and Deputy Fire Chief Joe Glover sign an addendum that stated:

“Plaintiff agrees that he will no apply for employment with the City in the future, and Plaintiff agrees that in the event he applies for employment with the City in the future his application will not be considered.”

The Hayward administration apparently still wanted to punish these men, even though the new mayor can hire whomever he wants. Hayward and Barker cannot limit the hiring and firing power of the mayor.

It seems they wanted to add one more humiliation.
