Podcast: Temporary morgues set up in Baldwin County

On NewsTalk 1370 WCOA, I spoke with AL.com reporter John Sharp about the COVID crisis in the hospitals of Mobile and Baldwin counties.

Sharp said Alabama hospitals are facing an unprecedented crisis that has put stress on the healthcare industry – “Mobile county was in the top 24 counties in the United States for infections on a per capita basis.”

Sharp later added, “At the Gulf Shores City Council meeting, the mayor said that he is understanding there’s been temporary morgues set up outside of South Baldwin Regional Medical Center and Thomas Hospital in Fairhope.”
