The Escambia County School District earned a B for the 2018-19 school year. However, the district performed poorly when compared to other large school districts with more than 20,000 students.
Of the 29 school districts that have over 20,000 students, Escambia tied for #26 in English Language Arts with only two districts lower. In Mathematics, the district had the lowest percentage performing at grade level. In Science, Escambia tied for #26 with only two districts lower. In Social Studies, Escambia had the lowest percentage.
