Section out of Pensacola Bay Bridge

Pictures are circulating on Facebook that a section of the new Pensacola Bay Bridge is out. Sheriff David Morgan has deputies checking Â on the report.

Hurricane Sally – a Category 2 – hit Gulf Shores early this morning. The county may be in rescue mode for next 12-16 hours.

Three hundred homes may have to be evacuated due to flooding.
