Arrests Made in Antisemitic Vandalism
Pensacola Police investigators have made multiple arrests in the case involving multiple acts of vandalism. Most of the incidents involved graffiti containing antisemitic messages and symbols in the downtown and East Hill areas of Pensacola.
Two of the incidents involved bricks with antisemitic messages being thrown through windows at Jewish places of worship.
Charged in these incidents are:
Waylon Moon Fowler (06-13-06) who is charged with 7 counts of felony criminal mischief, enhanced to a hate crime. 1 count of misdemeanor criminal mischief, and 1 count of felony trespassing in a construction zone.
Wyatt Fox Fowler (03-29-08) who is charged with 7 counts of felony criminal mischief, enhanced to a hate crime. 1 count of misdemeanor criminal mischief, and 1 count of felony trespassing in a construction zone.
Nicholas Pearce Ferry (02-23-07) who is charged with 4 counts of felony criminal mischief enhanced to a hate crime, and 1 count of felony trespassing in a construction zone.
Kessler Alexander Ferry (01-31-05) charged with 1 count of felony criminal mischief enhanced to a hate crime.
Pensacola Police Chief Eric Randall said “The extra hard work of investigators and many others in the Pensacola Police Department paid off today. We hope that these arrests can bring comfort and closure not only to those in our Jewish community, but to all citizens of this great city.”
Pensacola Mayor D.C. Reeves added “We will not tolerate hate crimes in the City of Pensacola. I greatly appreciate our PPD’s superb investigative work in recent days that clearly delivers an important message: if you conduct cowardly acts of hate in this city in an attempt to hurt or intimidate, we will find you and bring you to justice.”
PPD investigators say further arrests in this case are possible.

To date, I don’t think we’ve seen a unified list of all of the places targeted. I think I heard on Channel 3 that one place was the city’s old Amtrack Station. If so, very odd. On Channel 3, they showed a picture of Holly Benson’s tagged home in Aragon across the street from Admiral Mason Park. I think she’s a Methodist. The mother of the Ferry suspects goes to the First United Methodist Church. She says so on her law firm’s website boasting of her many pro-bono activities. The law firm operated by her and her husband have made political campaign donations to ECUA board member Lois Benson, Sheriff Chip Simmons and Alan McMillan whom the mother knows very well from the Pensacola Yacht Club where both are big shots. The Ferry suspects live outside of the city on Bayou Chico. To date, I don’t think we’ve been told where the three minor suspects go to school. A post on the Channel 3 Facebook page said that the oldest suspect works at the Blue Moon Antique Mall not far from his home. In fact, his Linkedin page describes him as a “Salesperson at Blue Moon Antique Mall.” If there was any follow-up, Channel 3 did not report it. Channel 3 is reporting that the tag “RWB” means “Revolutionary White Brotherhood.” Some of the tags include the numbers “14” and “88.” The number “14” is shorthand for “14 words” as in – “We must secure the existence of our people and the future of white children.” The number “8” is the eighth letter of the alphabet with “88” meaning “HH” or “Heil Hitler.” The story at this link provides some more information as of last week: https://sjlmag.com/2023/08/04/four-teens-arrested-after-eight-antisemitic-vandalism-incidents-in-pensacola/
