According to the latest data from the Florida Department of Health, Escambia County had 16 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours. As the our newly designed “Underhill Chart” below shows, the new cases aren’t flattening. As more test results come back, the positives are growing at a rate of 12% or higher in Escambia. The state is growing at a rate of 10%.
Without consistent testing and results being returned on a timely basis, it’s difficult to determine any trends, despite the commissioner’s agenda.
