GBHS has over 100 students out due to COVID-19

Gulf Breeze High School has had to cancel several soccer games due to COVID-19. As contact tracing is done through the school, more and more students are being sent home. Inweekly talked with several parents who tie the infections back to Halloween and an unofficial Homecoming dance held two weeks ago. There is talk the high school come go all virtual for the rest of 2020 after Thanksgiving.

Yesterday, the daily newspaper reported cases have quadrupled in Santa Rosa County schools, reporting 11 cases the first week of November and 42 last week.
